One of our favorite questions we get about Ribbon Nutrition is “Who do you donate to?” We love it because we get to talk about the awesome organizations that inspire us to do what we do. If you look closely, you’ll see that we work with not only Breast Cancer organizations, but also groups that promote a clean environment and healthy, organic foods…after all, our mission is to empower the END of Breast Cancer.

Environmental Working Group (EWG)
We like them so much our co-founder, Stephen Hennessey, put them on his wedding registry. They do the one thing that most of us just don’t have the stomach for…deal with both politicians and massive corporations. EWG exposes the truth about things like Pesticides in Produce, Toxins in our Personal Care and Cosmetic Products, and Dirty Tap Water, all the while lobbying in DC for really important things like a Farm Bill that actually serves the public. Check out their websites, www.ewg.org and www.foodnews.org, and prepare to be dazzled by all the incredible things these really great people are doing for us. |

The Young Survival Coalition (YSC)
Like Pink & Green, the YSC is another one-of-a-kind organization. Founded by three young Breast Cancer survivors in 1998, YSC has grown into the only international non-profit organization dedicated to the needs of young women and Breast Cancer. We’re all about ENDING Breast Cancer and the YSC is a powerful voice in reaching young women and young mothers. That’s a pretty potent combination. |

Carbonfund.org
Their slogan says it all, “Reduce what you can. Offset what you can’t.” We know you’re trying. You’re recycling more. You’re driving less. You’re using canvas bags when you go to your favorite natural food market. You’ve turned down the AC in the summer and you no longer let the water run while you brush your teeth. Nice work. But we understand, you still need to drive places and you still need to see inside your house. So for what’s left—your utility use, your driving, etc—check out our good friends at Carbonfund.org. They’ll help you reduce your impact on the planet to practically nothing. We work with them to offset our offices, production, and shipping. How’s it work? They support renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, they plant trees, they make the world a healthier and prettier place. |

GA Organics
If you live in Georgia, stop what you’re doing. Stop now. Run to your computer. Type in www.georgiaorganics.org. Send them money. Okay, kidding about the money. Seriously, though, really check them out. When it gets down to it, there’s nothing more important to your health than the food you eat and the food you feed your family. That’s where Georgia Organics comes in. They support local farmers, organic agriculture, and our local economy. They support us. They support really, really good food. |

Women Beyond Cancer
This is the first group we personally came in contact with when we started Ribbon. What we love most about them is the immediate impact Pam and Lola (the co-founders) have on the lives of the women they work with. They’re the smallest organization we work with, but that allows us to work with them on a more personal level. And the feedback we get from the women they work with inspires us like crazy. |
